Mad for Plaid

We got a taste of spring here in Minneapolis over the weekend, and although I know we haven't seen the last of winter, there's nothing like pulling out my Burberry wellies to make me think of jolly old England.  Many of you may know my obsession with all things plaid, and interiors are no exception.  No other fabric, in my opinion, can add an English touch to a space quite like plaid can.  It can work with almost any color combination, and done correctly, can really tie the whole room together.  However, plaid is best used sparingly, as the spaces below illustrate.  Most of the spaces that I gravitate towards lately, incorporate just one plaid element, typically as an accent.  Tossing a blanket or throw in a coordinating plaid on a bed or sofa is a simple way to add some style to your space.  Who wouldn't love to curl up with a good book, hot cup of tea and a perfect plaid throw?
